Oldtimer

Collective term for historic vehicles

at least 30 years old, including
Cars
Motorbikes
Trucks, buses
Agricultural machinery

Youngtimer

Youngtimer

Vehicles that are at least 20 but not yet 30 years old.

Agricultural machinery

Historische Fahrzeuge

Historic vehicles

According to the FIVA, historic vehicles are

at least 30 years old
in a historically correct condition
maintained, are not used daily as a means of transport
Part of the cultural heritage

Veteranenfahrzeuge

Veteran vehicles

According to the federal government, the following criteria apply

First placed on the market at least 30 years ago
The vehicle is used for private purposes only
maximum 2000-3000 km per year
Original condition, visually/technically perfect
