The SWISS HISTORIC VEHICLE FEDERATION (SHVF), the Swiss Museum of Transport and SWISS CLASSIC WORLD make dreams come true!
Swiss Classic World 2026 Lucerne

Alizée Brunet from Beinwil, Aargau, and Manuel Furrer from Kriens, Lucerne, were heartbroken: they had to hand over the keys to the classic cars they had grown so fond of.

On May 31, 2026, the big day had arrived: the contestants vying for a free year in the 1970 VW 1300L gathered in Hall 2 at Swiss Classic World for the final round. Vanessa Waser from Engelberg won over the jury and was unanimously crowned the winner!

The 1984 Porsche 944 will be driven for a year by Noah Manz from Hombrechtikon. We congratulate both of them warmly and wish them safe travels 🥳🤩

The details

The event will continue next year as well. Applications are now being accepted.

We will invite the best applicants to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD in Lucerne. The winners will be announced on Sunday, 30 May 2027 at 14 p.m. The award ceremony will then take place, including the handover of the keys.

What we offer
  • We provide you with a vehicle free of charge for one year
  • The vehicles are inspected (MFK)
  • The vehicles are registered and insured (full coverage)
  • We give you a detailed introduction
  • A sheltered car park is available if required
What we expect
  • You do not own or drive a historic vehicle
  • You fill out the complete application form and submit it to us for review
  • You tell us (text, picture and/or video) why we should give YOU a vehicle
  • You have a valid category B driving licence (national or international)
  • You are obliged to handle the vehicle with care
  • You keep the vehicle clean and ready for driving at all times
  • We only accept citizens living in Switzerland with a valid residence permit
  • You have no criminal record and your driving licence has never been revoked
