Old cars for young people

The SWISS HISTORIC VEHICLE FEDERATION (SHVF), the Swiss Museum of Transport and SWISS CLASSIC WORLD make dreams come true!
Swiss Classic World 2025 Lucerne

It is finally official who will be driving the Porsche 944 and the 1970 VW Beetle for one year: We congratulate the winners Alizée Brunet from Beinwil AG and Manuel Furrer from Kriens LU and wish them lots of fun driving.

It was hard for last year’s winners Julien and Tom, who had to say goodbye to their vehicles. The campaign will continue in 2026.

The details

We will invite the best applicants to the SWISS CLASSIC WORLD in Lucerne. The winners will be announced on Sunday, 1 June at 14 p.m. The award ceremony will then take place, including the handover of the keys. The closing date for applications is Sunday, 18 May 2025.

What we offer
  • We provide you with a vehicle free of charge for one year
  • The vehicles are inspected (MFK)
  • The vehicles are registered and insured (full coverage)
  • We give you a detailed introduction
  • A sheltered car park is available if required
What we expect
  • You do not own or drive a historic vehicle
  • You fill out the complete application form and submit it to us for review
  • You tell us (text, picture and/or video) why we should give YOU a vehicle
  • You have a valid category B driving licence (national or international)
  • You are obliged to handle the vehicle with care
  • You keep the vehicle clean and ready for driving at all times
  • We only accept citizens living in Switzerland with a valid residence permit
  • You have no criminal record and your driving licence has never been revoked
