A metà aprile, in collaborazione con il Swiss Railpark St. Gotthard, è stato possibile prendere in consegna il primo veicolo destinato a un progetto di restauro nell’ambito dell’iniziativa «Next Heritage». Si tratta di un ulteriore passo importante per avvicinare concretamente le giovani generazioni al mondo del motorismo storico, offrendo loro la possibilità di vivere la tecnica e la cultura automobilistica direttamente sul campo.

Il veicolo scelto per questo primo progetto è un raro Austin Mini Moke della metà degli anni Sessanta, del quale sono già stati identificati e documentati diversi elementi tecnici e codici costruttivi. L’obiettivo non è soltanto quello di riportare la vettura in condizioni di marcia, ma soprattutto di trasformarla in una vera piattaforma educativa.

L’idea alla base del progetto va infatti ben oltre il semplice restauro. Molti dei giovani coinvolti dispongono ancora di conoscenze tecniche limitate, ed è proprio qui che nasce il valore dell’iniziativa: imparare passo dopo passo il funzionamento dei diversi sistemi e delle tecnologie presenti in un veicolo storico, dall’impianto elettrico al sistema frenante, dalla frizione al raffreddamento del motore.

Accanto all’aspetto tecnico, grande importanza viene data anche al lavoro manuale e artigianale. I partecipanti avranno la possibilità di familiarizzare con le logiche della manutenzione e del restauro, imparando non solo a intervenire sul veicolo, ma anche a sviluppare precisione, pazienza, spirito di squadra e rispetto per un bene storico.

Un altro elemento centrale del progetto riguarda la documentazione tecnica. Fin dalle prime fasi sono stati analizzati e registrati numeri di telaio, codici motore e riferimenti di carrozzeria. Questo approccio vuole trasmettere ai giovani anche la consapevolezza dell’importanza della documentazione, della letteratura tecnica e delle fonti originali nella corretta conservazione e interpretazione dei veicoli storici.

Durante il primo controllo tecnico sono già stati definiti diversi interventi prioritari, tra cui la verifica dell’impianto elettrico, la revisione della frizione, il controllo del sistema frenante e la preparazione del motore per la rimessa in funzione. L’obiettivo è quello di rendere il veicolo funzionante per un evento previsto all’inizio di giugno e, nel lungo periodo, procedere anche con la richiesta del passaporto FIVA.

Questo progetto dimostra in modo concreto come i veicoli storici possano diventare un ponte tra generazioni, tecnica, storia e formazione pratica. In un mondo sempre più digitale, nasce così uno spazio in cui i giovani possono riscoprire il valore del lavoro manuale, comprendere i principi della meccanica e assumersi responsabilità all’interno di un progetto condiviso.

Con questo primo progetto di restauro, Next Heritage e young4vintage lanciano un segnale forte e positivo per il futuro del patrimonio automobilistico storico: vivo, concreto e costruito insieme alle nuove generazioni.

Beim Fahrzeug handelt es sich um einen seltenen Austin Mini Moke aus der Mitte der 1960er Jahre, dessen Identifikation und technische Merkmale bereits im Detail dokumentiert wurden. Das Fahrzeug soll in den kommenden Monaten wieder fahrbereit gemacht werden und vor allem als Lernplattform dienen.

Die Grundidee hinter dem Projekt geht weit über eine klassische Restaurierung hinaus. Viele der beteiligten Jugendlichen verfügen bislang nur über begrenzte technische Erfahrung. Genau darin liegt jedoch die besondere Stärke dieses Vorhabens: Schritt für Schritt sollen die Teilnehmenden die verschiedenen Systeme und Technologien eines historischen Fahrzeugs kennenlernen – von Elektrik, Kühlung und Kraftstoffversorgung bis hin zu Bremsen, Kupplung und Motorentechnik.

Ebenso wichtig ist der praktische Zugang zum Handwerk. Die jungen Enthusiasten sollen lernen, wie Restaurationsarbeiten vorbereitet, geplant und fachgerecht umgesetzt werden. Dabei geht es nicht nur um das Schrauben am Fahrzeug selbst, sondern auch um Präzision, Geduld, Teamarbeit und den respektvollen Umgang mit historischem Kulturgut.

Ein weiterer zentraler Bestandteil des Projekts ist die Dokumentation. Bereits zu Beginn wurden technische Daten, Chassisnummern sowie Motor- und Karosseriekennzeichnungen analysiert und festgehalten. Damit sollen die Jugendlichen verstehen, wie wichtig Werkstattliteratur, originale Unterlagen und technische Dokumentation für die korrekte Einordnung und Erhaltung historischer Fahrzeuge sind.

Im Rahmen einer ersten technischen Bestandsaufnahme wurden bereits verschiedene Arbeiten definiert. Dazu gehören unter anderem die Überprüfung der elektrischen Anlage, die Revision des Kupplungssystems, die Kontrolle der Bremsanlage sowie die Vorbereitung des Motors auf die Wiederinbetriebnahme. Ziel ist es, das Fahrzeug möglichst für einen geplanten Auftritt Anfang Juni wieder fahrfähig zu machen und langfristig auch einen FIVA-Karte zu beantragen.

Das Projekt zeigt eindrücklich, wie historische Fahrzeuge als Brücke zwischen Generationen, Technik, Geschichte und praktischer Ausbildung dienen können. In einer zunehmend digitalen Welt entsteht ein Raum, in dem junge Menschen wieder lernen, mit den Händen zu arbeiten, technische Zusammenhänge zu verstehen und Verantwortung innerhalb eines gemeinsamen Projekts zu übernehmen.

Mit diesem ersten Restaurationsprojekt setzt Next Heritage gemeinsam mit young4vintage ein starkes Zeichen für die Zukunft des automobilen Kulturerbes – lebendig, praxisnah und generationenübergreifend.

Il s’agit d’une rare Austin Mini Moke datant du milieu des années 1960, dont l’identification et les caractéristiques techniques ont déjà été documentées en détail. Au cours des prochains mois, le véhicule ne sera pas seulement remis en état de marche, mais servira avant tout de plateforme d’apprentissage.

L’idée de base du projet va bien au-delà d’une restauration classique. Bon nombre des jeunes participants ne disposent jusqu’à présent que d’une expérience technique limitée. C'est précisément là que réside la force particulière de ce projet : étape par étape, les participants doivent se familiariser avec les différents systèmes et technologies d’un véhicule historique – de l’électricité, la refroidissement et l’alimentation en carburant jusqu’aux freins, l’embrayage et la technologie du moteur.

L’approche pratique du métier revêt une importance tout aussi grande. Les jeunes passionnés doivent apprendre à préparer, planifier et réaliser les travaux de restauration dans les règles de l’art. Il ne s’agit pas seulement de bricoler sur le véhicule lui-même, mais aussi de faire preuve de précision, de patience, d’esprit d’équipe et de respect envers ce patrimoine culturel historique.

La documentation constitue un autre élément central du projet. Dès le début, les données techniques, les numéros de châssis ainsi que les marquages du moteur et de la carrosserie ont été analysés et consignés. Cela permet aux jeunes de comprendre l’importance de la littérature d’atelier, des documents originaux et de la documentation technique pour le classement et la conservation corrects des véhicules historiques.

Dans le cadre d’un premier état des lieux technique, différents travaux ont déjà été définis. Il s’agit notamment de la vérification du système électrique, de la révision du système d’embrayage, du contrôle du système de freinage ainsi que de la préparation du moteur en vue de sa remise en service. L’objectif est de rendre le véhicule à nouveau apte à rouler, si possible pour une apparition prévue début juin, et, à long terme, de demander une carte FIVA.

Ce projet montre de manière impressionnante comment les véhicules historiques peuvent servir de pont entre les générations, la technologie, l’histoire et la formation pratique. Dans un monde de plus en plus numérique, il crée un espace où les jeunes réapprennent à travailler de leurs mains, à comprendre les principes techniques et à assumer des responsabilités dans le cadre d'un projet commun.

Avec ce premier projet de restauration, Next Heritage, en collaboration avec young4vintage, envoie un signal fort pour l'avenir du patrimoine automobile : vivant, concret et intergénérationnel.

This marked another important step towards introducing young people to the world of historic motoring in a hands-on way and giving them the opportunity to gain technical knowledge directly from the vehicle itself.

The vehicle in question is a rare Austin Mini Moke from the mid-1960s, the identification and technical specifications of which have already been documented in detail. Over the coming months, the vehicle will not only be restored to working order but, above all, will serve as a learning platform.

The basic idea behind the project goes far beyond a traditional restoration. Many of the young people involved have so far had only limited technical experience. Yet this is precisely where the particular strength of this project lies: step by step, the participants will learn about the various systems and technologies of a historic vehicle – from the electrical system, cooling and fuel supply to the brakes, clutch and engine technology.

Equally important is gaining hands-on experience of the craft. The young enthusiasts are to learn how restoration work is prepared, planned and carried out professionally. This involves not only working on the vehicle itself, but also precision, patience, teamwork and treating historical cultural heritage with respect.

Another key component of the project is documentation. Right from the start, technical data, chassis numbers and engine and body markings were analysed and recorded. This is intended to help the young people understand how important workshop manuals, original documents and technical documentation are for the correct classification and preservation of historic vehicles.

As part of an initial technical assessment, various tasks have already been defined. These include, amongst other things, checking the electrical system, overhauling the clutch system, inspecting the braking system and preparing the engine for recommissioning. The aim is to get the vehicle back on the road in time for a planned appearance in early June and, in the long term, to apply for a FIVA card.

The project powerfully demonstrates how historic vehicles can serve as a bridge between generations, technology, history and practical training. Particularly in an increasingly digital world, this creates a space where young people can learn once again to work with their hands, understand technical concepts and take on responsibility within a shared project.

With this first restoration project, Next Heritage, together with yong4vintage, is sending a strong signal for the future of automotive heritage – vibrant, hands-on and intergenerational.

Il 9 aprile 2026 è stato compiuto un importante passo per il futuro di young4vintage Ticino. Presso il Swiss Railpark St. Gotthard si è infatti svolta l’assemblea costitutiva della nuova associazione «Next Heritage», nata con l’obiettivo di rappresentare in modo strutturato gli interessi della giovane generazione legata al motorismo storico nel Canton Ticino.

L’iniziativa si inserisce nello spirito del progetto young4vintage della SHVF e vuole offrire ai giovani appassionati una piattaforma concreta attraverso la quale organizzare attività, sviluppare progetti e presentarsi verso l’esterno con una struttura associativa chiara e riconosciuta. Tra gli aspetti pratici affrontati figura anche la possibilità di gestire autonomamente attività amministrative e finanziarie, come l’apertura di un conto bancario dedicato.

L’assemblea è stata presieduta da Irene Balestra, mentre Hermès Ammon ha assunto il ruolo di segretario verbalizzante. I soci fondatori presenti hanno approvato all’unanimità lo statuto della nuova associazione, composto da 36 articoli, sancendo ufficialmente la nascita di «Next Heritage» con effetto immediato.

Gli scopi dell’associazione sono chiari e fortemente orientati al futuro: tutelare, conservare e diffondere la cultura del motorismo storico presso le nuove generazioni, promuovere la trasmissione di competenze tecniche e artigianali, sviluppare progetti educativi e creare una rete di appassionati capace di favorire lo scambio di esperienze e conoscenze.

I quattro pilastri identificativi del progetto sono passione, storia, tecnica e comunità, valori che dovranno accompagnare le future attività dell’associazione, tra visite culturali, lavori di restauro, incontri formativi e testimonianze pratiche.

Particolarmente originale è anche il “rito simbolico d’iniziazione” previsto per i soci ordinari: ogni nuovo membro è invitato a presentare un oggetto personale legato alla propria passione per il motorismo storico. Nel tempo, questi oggetti andranno a comporre una rappresentazione collettiva dell’identità e dell’evoluzione dell’associazione stessa.

Nel corso della serata è stato inoltre eletto il primo Comitato direttivo dell’associazione. Irene Balestra è stata nominata Presidente, Hermès Ammon Vicepresidente. Alessio Ciccone seguirà l’area dei progetti educativi, Malyk Lombardi l’area tecnica dedicata ai veicoli e ai restauri, mentre Leonel Rodrigues e Alex Reisenthaler supporteranno rispettivamente la comunicazione social e le attività d’intervista e documentazione.

È stato inoltre costituito un Consiglio consultivo composto da Massimo Albertini, Roberto Bernasconi e Marco Morisoli, con il compito di offrire supporto strategico, esperienza e consulenza allo sviluppo dell’associazione.

L’atmosfera della serata è stata caratterizzata da entusiasmo, senso di res­ponsabilità e voglia di costruire qualcosa di duraturo. La nascita di «Next Heritage» rappresenta infatti molto più della semplice creazione di un’associazione: è il segnale concreto che una nuova generazione desidera partecipare attivamente alla conservazione e alla trasmissione del patrimonio automobilistico storico.

Young4vintage Ticino continua così il proprio percorso, dimostrando che la passione per i veicoli storici può trasformarsi in cultura, amicizia, formazione e progettualità condivisa tra generazioni diverse.

The Swiss Railpark St. Gotthard hosted the founding meeting of the new association ‘Next Heritage’, whose aim is to represent the interests of the younger generation in relation to historic motoring in Ticino in a structured manner.

The initiative is fully in the spirit of the SHVF’s young4vintage project and is intended to offer young enthusiasts a concrete platform to organise activities, develop projects and present themselves to the outside world as a clearly structured and recognised organisation. Among the practical foundations is the ability to manage administrative and financial matters independently, for example by opening an association bank account.

The meeting was chaired by Irene Balestra, whilst Hermès Ammon acted as minute-taker. The founding members present unanimously approved the new association’s articles of association, which consist of 36 articles. ‘Next Heritage’ was thus officially founded with immediate effect.

The association’s objectives are clearly defined and firmly focused on the future: to promote the culture of historic vehicles among the younger generations, to pass on technical and practical skills, to develop educational projects, and to build a network of enthusiasts that facilitates the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The four cornerstones of the project are passion, history, technology and community. These values are intended to shape the association’s future activities – from cultural visits and restoration work to educational projects and practical case studies.

The symbolic initiation ritual for full members is also particularly original: each new member brings a personal item that reflects their passion for historic motoring. Over time, these objects are to be brought together to form a collective representation of the association’s identity and development.

During the course of the evening, the association’s first executive committee was also elected. Irene Balestra takes on the role of chair, with Hermès Ammon as vice-chair. Alessio Ciccone is responsible for educational projects, whilst Malyk Lombardi oversees the technical aspects relating to vehicles and restoration. Leonel Rodrigues and Alex Reisenthaler will support the social media, interviews and documentation departments.

An advisory board comprising Massimo Albertini, Roberto Bernasconi and Marco Morisoli was also appointed to support the association with strategic guidance, experience and expert advice.

The atmosphere of the evening was characterised by enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility and the desire to build something sustainable. The founding of ‘Next Heritage’ is therefore far more than just the creation of a new association: it is a clear sign that a new generation is ready to play an active role in preserving and passing on our automotive heritage.

Young4Vintage Ticino is thus continuing on its chosen path and demonstrating that a passion for historic vehicles can lead to culture, friendship, education and intergenerational projects.

Die Initiative steht ganz im Geist des Projekts young4vintage der SHVF und soll jungen Enthusiasten eine konkrete Plattform bieten, um Aktivitäten zu organisieren, Projekte zu entwickeln und nach aussen als klar strukturierte und anerkannte Organisation aufzutreten. Zu den praktischen Grundlagen gehört unter anderem auch die Möglichkeit, administrative und finanzielle Belange eigenständig zu regeln, beispielsweise durch die Eröffnung eines Vereinskontos.

Die Versammlung wurde von Irene Balestra geleitet, während Hermès Ammon das Amt des Protokollführers übernahm. Die anwesenden Gründungsmitglieder genehmigten einstimmig die Statuten des neuen Vereins, welche aus 36 Artikeln bestehen. Damit wurde «Next Heritage» offiziell mit sofortiger Wirkung gegründet.

Die Ziele des Vereins sind klar definiert und stark auf die Zukunft ausgerichtet: die Kultur historischer Fahrzeuge bei den neuen Generationen zu fördern, technisches und handwerkliches Wissen weiterzugeben, Bildungsprojekte zu entwickeln sowie ein Netzwerk von Enthusiasten aufzubauen, das den Austausch von Erfahrungen und Wissen ermöglicht.

Die vier tragenden Säulen des Projekts sind Leidenschaft, Geschichte, Technik und Gemeinschaft. Diese Werte sollen die zukünftigen Aktivitäten des Vereins prägen – von kulturellen Besuchen über Restaurationsarbeiten bis hin zu Bildungsprojekten und praktischen Erfahrungsberichten.

Besonders originell ist auch das symbolische Aufnahmeritual für ordentliche Mitglieder: Jedes neue Mitglied bringt einen persönlichen Gegenstand mit, der seine Leidenschaft für das historische Automobilwesen widerspiegelt. Diese Objekte sollen mit der Zeit zu einer kollektiven Darstellung der Identität und Entwicklung des Vereins zusammengeführt werden.

Im Verlauf des Abends wurde zudem der erste Vorstand des Vereins gewählt. Irene Balestra übernimmt das Präsidium, Hermès Ammon das Vizepräsidium. Alessio Ciccone verantwortet den Bereich Bildungsprojekte, Malyk Lombardi den technischen Bereich rund um Fahrzeuge und Restaurationen. Leonel Rodrigues und Alex Reisenthaler unterstützen die Bereiche Social Media sowie Interviews und Dokumentation.

Ebenfalls eingesetzt wurde ein beratender Beirat bestehend aus Massimo Albertini, Roberto Bernasconi und Marco Morisoli, der den Verein mit strategischer Unterstützung, Erfahrung und fachlicher Beratung begleiten soll.

Die Stimmung des Abends war geprägt von Begeisterung, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und dem Wunsch, etwas Nachhaltiges aufzubauen. Die Gründung von «Next Heritage» ist deshalb weit mehr als nur die Entstehung eines neuen Vereins: Sie ist ein klares Zeichen dafür, dass eine neue Generation bereit ist, aktiv an der Bewahrung und Weitergabe des automobilen Kulturerbes mitzuwirken.

Parmi les aspects pratiques, on compte notamment la possibilité de gérer de manière autonome les questions administratives et financières, par exemple en ouvrant un compte bancaire pour l’association.

L’assemblée a été présidée par Irene Balestra, tandis qu’Hermès Ammon a assumé la fonction de secrétaire. Les membres fondateurs présents ont approuvé à l’unanimité les statuts de la nouvelle association, qui comptent 36 articles. «Next Heritage» a ainsi été officiellement fondée avec effet immédiat.

Les objectifs de l’association sont clairement définis et résolument tournés vers l’avenir : promouvoir la culture des véhicules historiques auprès des nouvelles générations, transmettre des connaissances techniques et artisanales, développer des projets éducatifs et mettre en place un réseau de passionnés permettant l’échange d’expériences et de savoir-faire.

Les quatre piliers du projet sont la passion, l’histoire, la technique et la communauté. Ces valeurs doivent imprégner les futures activités de l’association – des visites culturelles aux travaux de restauration, en passant par les projets éducatifs et les témoignages pratiques.

Le rituel d’initiation symbolique des membres ordinaires est également particulièrement original : chaque nouveau membre apporte un objet personnel qui reflète sa passion pour l’automobile historique. Au fil du temps, ces objets seront rassemblés pour former une représentation collective de l’identité et de l’évolution de l’association.

Au cours de la soirée, le premier comité directeur de l’association a également été élu. Irene Balestra en assume la présidence, tandis qu'Hermès Ammon occupe le poste de vice-président. Alessio Ciccone est responsable des projets éducatifs, et Malyk Lombardi du volet technique concernant les véhicules et les restaurations. Leonel Rodrigues et Alex Reisenthaler s’occupent respectivement des réseaux sociaux, des interviews et de la documentation.

Un comité consultatif composé de Massimo Albertini, Roberto Bernasconi et Marco Morisoli a également été mis en place afin d’accompagner l’association en lui apportant un soutien stratégique, son expérience et des conseils spécialisés.

L’ambiance de la soirée était empreinte d’enthousiasme, d’un sens des responsabilités et de la volonté de construire quelque chose de durable. La création de «Next Heritage» est donc bien plus que la simple naissance d’une nouvelle association : c’est un signe clair qu’une nouvelle génération est prête à participer activement à la préservation et à la transmission du patrimoine automobile.

Young4vintage Ticino poursuit ainsi résolument son chemin et montre que la passion pour les véhicules historiques peut mener à la culture, à l’amitié, à l’éducation et à des projets intergénérationnels.

Am 28. März 2026 erlebte young4vintage Ticino einen besonders bedeutenden Moment mit einem Ausflug nach Safenwil – ganz im Zeichen von Entdeckung, Austausch und gelebter Leidenschaft.

Eine Gruppe von rund zwanzig Teilnehmenden aus dem Tessin, verbunden durch das Umfeld von young4vintage, reiste gemeinsam mit einem Reisecar an. Bereits die Anreise wurde so zu einem ersten Moment des Austauschs und der Gemeinschaft. Erstmals waren auch junge Enthusiasten aus dem benachbarten Italien mit dabei, was die «insubrische» Zusammenarbeit unterstrich und zeigte, wie verbindend diese gemeinsame Leidenschaft über Grenzen hinweg wirken kann.

Das Tagesprogramm war abwechslungsreich und sorgfältig zusammengestellt. Den Auftakt bildete der Besuch im Emil Frey Classic Museum, wo die Teilnehmenden in eine qualitativ hochstehende Sammlung eintauchen konnten, die durch ihre Präsentation und Detailtiefe grossen Eindruck hinterliess.

Im Anschluss erhielt die Gruppe Einblick in die Werkstatt von Emil Frey Classic, das eigentliche Herzstück des Unternehmens. Die Führung wurde auf Italienisch vom Werkstattleiter Andrea Trigili geleitet und ermöglichte einen direkten Einblick in die Arbeiten rund um Wartung und Restauration. Die fachlichen Ausführungen stiessen auf grosses Interesse und wurden von den Teilnehmenden sehr geschätzt.

Nach dem gemeinsamen Mittagessen im Museumsrestaurant folgte ein weiterer Höhepunkt des Tages: der Besuch des Swiss Car Register. In Anwesenheit von Urs P. Ramseier erhielten die Teilnehmenden Zugang zu einer aussergewöhnlichen Sammlung von Dokumenten und Objekten, welche die Geschichte des Automobils in der Schweiz eindrücklich dokumentieren. Die Führung auf Italienisch durch Franz Engler vermittelte dieses einzigartige Kulturgut mit viel Fachwissen und spürbarer Leidenschaft.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Geist innerhalb der Gruppe. Ein spezieller Dank gilt Hermes, der mit seiner offenen Art und seinem Gespür für Menschen sofort einen Zugang zu den Teilnehmenden aus Mailand fand und damit einen ersten, wichtigen Brückenschlag zwischen Gleichgesinnten ermöglichte. Daraus ergibt sich eine vielversprechende Basis für zukünftige gemeinsame Aktivitäten in der Schweiz und in Italien.

Die zahlreichen positiven Rückmeldungen bestätigen die hohe Qualität dieses Ausflugs – sowohl inhaltlich als auch menschlich. Der Tag in Safenwil war weit mehr als ein klassischer Besuch: Er war ein Erlebnis, das Austausch, Lernen und neue Verbindungen ermöglichte.

young4vintage setzt damit seinen Weg konsequent fort – als Plattform, die Generationen und Regionen verbindet und zeigt, dass die Leidenschaft für historische Fahrzeuge eine universelle Sprache ist, die Menschen, Ideen und Perspektiven zusammenführt.

Anlässlich des «Vatertags» am 19. März 2026 bildete das Tessin die Kulisse für zwei Veranstaltungen, die Leidenschaft, Austausch und neue Impulse miteinander verbanden: Rund dreissig Fahrzeuge trafen sich in Sant’Antonino und ebenso viele in Agno und sorgten für zwei stimmungsvolle und inhaltlich spannende Anlässe.

Mit dabei war auch das Team young4yintage Ticino mit Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky und Vanni, die die Veranstaltungen mitorganisiert und aktiv mitgestaltet haben und dabei viel Engagement und Initiative eingebracht haben.

Einer der besonderen Momente war, ohne Zweifel, das Debüt von Liky, 19 Jahre alt, der erst kürzlich seinen Führerschein erhalten hat. Für seine «Oldtimer-Feuertaufe» durfte er eine Alfetta fahren und erlebte damit seine erste echte Fahrt am Steuer eines historischen Fahrzeugs. Ein symbolischer Moment, der den Geist der Initiative perfekt widerspiegelt: die Weitergabe von Leidenschaft von einer Generation zur nächsten – lebendig und greifbar.

Die Gruppe wurde zudem durch ein neues Mitglied bereichert: Dani, mit 14 Jahren der Jüngste im Team. Als grosser Youngtimer-Enthusiast bringt er viel Neugier und Energie mit und zeigt, dass die Bewegung auch bei den ganz Jungen auf ein wachsendes Interesse stösst.

Auch die prämierten Fahrzeuge setzten spannende Akzente. In Sant’Antonino wurde eine eindrückliche Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis ausgezeichnet, während in Agno eine Ford T von 1926 geehrt wurde. Zwei Ikonen, die auf ihre Weise die Geschichte des Automobils authentisch erzählen.

Begleitet wurden die Veranstaltungen von geselligen Momenten: ein Frühstück in Sant’Antonino sowie ein Apéro mit Mittagessen in Agno, offeriert von OBI, dass die Initiative unterstützt hat. Den prämierten Teilnehmern wurde zudem ein Gutschein im Wert von 100 Franken für Produkte rund um das Automobil überreicht.

Nach diesen erfolgreichen Veranstaltungen, die in einem sehr positiven und kooperativen Umfeld stattgefunden haben, blickt man nun mit Interesse auf eine mögliche Weiterentwicklung der Zusammenarbeit mit OBI. Die bisherigen Erfahrungen zeigen, dass hier eine solide Basis für zukünftige Projekte und neue Möglichkeiten entsteht.

Am letzten Sonntag vor Weihnachten trafen sich die Vertreterinnen und Vertreter von young4vintage Ticino erstmals in diesem Kreis zu einer vorweihnachtlichen «Panettonata». Die Garage eines Sammlers bei Lugano mit einer beeindruckenden Auswahl an Vorkriegs-Veteranen bot dafür eine ebenso stimmige wie inspirierende Kulisse. Bei Panettone, Schokolade, Kaffee und Soft­drinks wurde an­ge­regt über die neue Initiative dis­kutiert. Gleich­zeitig präsentierten die jungen Enthusiasten zwei konkrete Projekt­ideen mit Blick auf das Jahr 2026.

Die erste Initiative verfolgt das Ziel, die Leiden­schaft für historische Fahr­zeuge an andere junge Men­schen weiter­zu­geben. Ge­plant sind Präsen­tationen an Schulen der 5. bis 9. Klasse, um Be­geister­ung zu wecken und gleich­zeitig auf­zu­zeigen, wie sich Interesse, Leiden­schaft sowie private und beruf­liche Per­spek­tiven mit­ein­ander ver­binden lassen.

Die zweite Initiative setzt auf das praktische Arbeiten am Objekt. Im Vorder­grund steht das Kennen­lernen von Technologie, Materialien und Zeit­geist ver­schiedener auto­mobil­historischer Epochen. Dabei geht es bewusst weniger um einen streng didaktischen Kurs, sondern um das un­mittel­bare Er­leben und Aus­leben der Leiden­schaft am Fahr­zeug.

Für beide Initiativen konnten bereits engagierte Paten ge­wonnen werden, welche die jungen Teil­nehmenden bei der Um­setzung ihrer Projekte begleiten, unter­stützen und mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Damit sind die Grund­lagen gelegt, um schon bald mit der Um­setzung zu beginnen.

Eine besondere Ehre für diesen kleinen vor­weihnachtlichen Anlass war die Teil­nahme von Antonio Santarelli, dem Gewinner des Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. Die Tessiner young4vintage-Gruppe, die am Gala­abend in Luzern teil­genommen hatte, nutzte die Gelegen­heit, Antonio den Preis persönlich zu über­reichen, da er am offiziellen Anlass aus familiären Gründen verhindert gewesen war.

Sicht­lich gerührt von der An­er­kennung, gewährte Antonio den An­wesenden sehr per­sönliche Ein­blicke in seinen Lebens­weg mit herben Rück­schlägen ebenso wie mit gross­artigen Momenten. Mit Geschichten aus dem «Näh­kästchen» eines Sattlers schlug er eine Brücke zwischen Hand­werk, Leiden­schaft und Durch­halte­vermögen. Zum Ab­schluss lud er die Tessiner young4vintage-Gruppe zu einem praxis­nahen Work­shop in seinem Betrieb ein.

Wir freuen uns auf ein Jahr 2026 voller Leiden­schaft, neuer Initiativen und begeisterter Menschen, die aktiv an der Zukunft der Ver­gangenheit arbeiten.

On 28 March 2026, young4vintage Ticino experienced a particularly significant moment with a trip to Safenwil – a day dedicated to discovery, sharing and a shared passion.

A group of around twenty participants from Ticino, brought together through the young4vintage community, arrived together by coach. The journey itself thus became an initial opportunity for interaction and camaraderie. For the first time, young enthusiasts from neighbouring Italy were also present, underscoring the ‘Insubric’ collaboration and demonstrating how this shared passion can bring people together across borders.

The day’s programme was varied and carefully put together. It began with a visit to the Emil Frey Classic Museum, where the participants were able to immerse themselves in a high-quality collection that made a great impression with its presentation and attention to detail.

The group then gained an insight into the Emil Frey Classic workshop, the very heart of the company. The tour was led in Italian by workshop manager Andrea Trigili and provided a direct insight into the work involved in maintenance and restoration. The technical explanations met with great interest and were highly appreciated by the participants.

After lunch together in the museum restaurant, another highlight of the day followed: a visit to the Swiss Car Register. In the presence of Urs P. Ramseier, the participants were given access to an extraordinary collection of documents and artefacts that provide a fascinating insight into the history of the automobile in Switzerland. The guided tour in Italian, led by Franz Engler, brought this unique cultural heritage to life with a wealth of expertise and palpable passion.

The spirit within the group is also particularly worth highlighting. Special thanks go to Hermes, who, with his open manner and his knack for connecting with people, immediately found a rapport with the participants from Milan, thereby facilitating an initial, important bridge between like-minded individuals. This provides a promising foundation for future joint activities in Switzerland and Italy.

The numerous positive responses confirm the high quality of this outing – both in terms of content and the people involved. The day in Safenwil was far more than a typical visit: it was an experience that fostered exchange, learning and new connections.

young4vintage is thus consistently continuing on its path – as a platform that connects generations and regions and demonstrates that a passion for historic vehicles is a universal language that brings people, ideas and perspectives together.

To mark ‘Father’s Day’ on 19 March 2026, Ticino provided the backdrop for two events that combined passion, interaction and fresh inspiration: around thirty vehicles gathered in Sant’Antonino and just as many in Agno, creating two atmospheric and engaging occasions.

Also present was the young4vintage Ticino team, comprising Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky and Vanni, who helped organise and actively shape the events, demonstrating great dedication and initiative.

One of the highlights was, without a doubt, the debut of Liky, aged 19, who has only recently passed his driving test. For his ‘classic car baptism of fire’, he was allowed to drive an Alfetta, experiencing his first real drive at the wheel of a historic vehicle. A symbolic moment that perfectly reflects the spirit of the initiative: the passing on of passion from one generation to the next – alive and tangible.

The group was also enriched by a new member: Dani, at 14 the youngest in the team. As a keen youngtimer enthusiast, he brings plenty of curiosity and energy to the table and shows that the movement is also attracting growing interest among the very young.

The award-winning vehicles also provided some exciting highlights. In Sant’Antonino, an impressive Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis was honoured, whilst in Agno a 1926 Ford Model T was celebrated. Two icons that, in their own way, authentically tell the story of the automobile.

The events were accompanied by some social occasions: a breakfast in Sant’Antonino and a drinks reception followed by lunch in Agno, courtesy of OBI, which supported the initiative. The prize-winning participants were also presented with a voucher worth 100 Swiss francs for automotive products.

Following these successful events, which took place in a very positive and cooperative atmosphere, attention is now turning with interest to the potential for further developing the partnership with OBI. Experience to date shows that a solid foundation is being laid here for future projects and new opportunities.

young4vintage Ticino is thus continuing on its path with determination: with enthusiasm, new generations and the clear aim of gradually building a vibrant community centred on a passion for historic vehicles.

On the last Sunday before Christmas, representatives of young4vintage Ticino met for the first time in this group for a pre-Christmas ‘Panettonata’. The garage of a collector near Lugano, with its impressive selection of pre-war vintage cars, provided a fitting and inspiring backdrop for the event. Over panettone, chocolate, coffee and soft drinks, there was lively discussion about the new initiative. At the same time, the young enthusiasts presented two concrete project ideas with a view to the year 2026.

The first initiative aims to pass on the passion for historic vehicles to other young people. Presentations are planned at schools for grades 5 to 9 to spark enthusiasm and at the same time show how interest, passion and private and professional perspectives can be combined.

The second initiative focuses on practical work on the object. The emphasis is on learning about the technology, materials and zeitgeist of different eras in automotive history. The aim is deliberately less to offer a strictly didactic course and more to provide a direct experience and opportunity to live out a passion for vehicles.

Committed mentors have already been found for both initiatives, who will accompany and support the young participants in the implementation of their projects and provide them with advice and assistance. This lays the foundation for implementation to begin soon.

A special honour for this small pre-Christmas event was the participation of Antonio Santarelli, winner of the Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. The Ticino young4vintage group, which had attended the gala evening in Lucerne, took the opportunity to present Antonio with the award in person, as he had been unable to attend the official event for family reasons.

Visibly moved by the recognition, Antonio gave those present very personal insights into his life, which has been marked by bitter setbacks as well as great moments. With stories from the life of a saddler, he built a bridge between craftsmanship, passion and perseverance. Finally, he invited the Ticino young4vintage group to a practical workshop at his company.

We look forward to a year full of passion, new initiatives and enthusiastic people who are actively working on the future of the past.

Un groupe d’une vingtaine de participants du Tessin, réunis autour de l’initiative young4vintage, est arrivé en autocar. Le trajet a ainsi constitué un premier moment d’échange et de convivialité. Pour la première fois, de jeunes passionnés venus de l’Italie voisine étaient également présents, soulignant ainsi la collaboration «insubrienne» et montrant à quel point cette passion commune peut créer des liens par-delà les frontières.

Le programme de la journée était varié et soigneusement élaboré. Il a débuté par une visite du musée Emil Frey Classic, où les participants ont pu découvrir une collection de grande qualité qui a fait forte impression par sa présentation et la richesse de ses détails.

Le groupe a ensuite pu découvrir l’atelier d’Emil Frey Classic, véritable cœur de l’entreprise. La visite guidée, menée en italien par le responsable de l’atelier Andrea Trigili, a permis d’observer directement les travaux d’entretien et de restauration. Les explications techniques ont suscité un vif intérêt et ont été très appréciées par les participants.

Après le déjeuner pris en commun au restaurant du musée, un autre temps fort de la journée a suivi: la visite du Swiss Car Register. En présence d'Urs P. Ramseier, les participants ont pu découvrir une collection exceptionnelle de documents et d'objets qui retracent de manière impressionnante l'histoire de l'automobile en Suisse. La visite guidée en italien, animée par Franz Engler, a permis de découvrir ce patrimoine culturel unique avec beaucoup de savoir-faire et une passion palpable.

Il convient également de souligner l’esprit qui régnait au sein du groupe. Un merci tout particulier à Hermes qui, grâce à son attitude ouverte et à son sens du contact, a immédiatement su créer un lien avec les participants de Milan, jetant ainsi un premier pont important entre personnes partageant les mêmes idées. Il en résulte une base prometteuse pour de futures activités communes en Suisse et en Italie.

Les nombreux retours positifs confirment la grande qualité de cette excursion, tant sur le fond que sur le plan humain. La journée à Safenwil a été bien plus qu’une simple visite classique: ce fut une expérience qui a favorisé les échanges, l’apprentissage et la création de nouveaux liens.

young4vintage poursuit ainsi résolument sa mission : celle d’une plateforme qui relie les générations et les régions, et qui montre que la passion pour les véhicules historiques est un langage universel qui rassemble les personnes, les idées et les perspectives.

L’un des moments forts a sans aucun doute été les débuts de Liky, âgé de 19 ans, qui vient tout juste d'obtenir son permis de conduire. Pour son « baptême du feu » au volant d’une voiture de collection, il a eu le privilège de conduire une Alfetta et a ainsi vécu sa première véritable expérience au volant d’un véhicule historique. Un moment symbolique qui reflète parfaitement l’esprit de l’initiative : la transmission de la passion d’une génération à l’autre – vivante et tangible.

Le groupe s’est également enrichi d’un nouveau membre : Dani, âgé de 14 ans, le plus jeune de l’équipe. Grand passionné de voitures récentes, il apporte beaucoup de curiosité et d’énergie et montre que le mouvement suscite un intérêt croissant, même chez les plus jeunes.

Les véhicules primés ont également apporté une touche passionnante. À Sant’Antonino, une impressionnante Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis a été récompensée, tandis qu’à Agno, c’est une Ford T de 1926 qui a été mise à l’honneur. Ces manifestations ont été ponctuées de moments conviviaux : un petit-déjeuner à Sant’Antonino ainsi qu’un apéritif suivi d’un déjeuner à Agno, offerts par OBI, qui a soutenu cette initiative. Les participants primés ont en outre reçu un bon d’achat d’une valeur de 100 francs à valoir sur des produits liés à l’automobile.

Après ces événements couronnés de succès, qui se sont déroulés dans une ambiance très positive et collaborative, on envisage désormais avec intérêt un éventuel renforcement de la collaboration avec OBI. Les expériences passées montrent qu’une base solide est en train de se constituer pour de futurs projets et de nouvelles opportunités.

young4vintage Ticino poursuit ainsi résolument son chemin : avec enthousiasme, en s'adressant aux nouvelles générations et avec l'objectif clair de construire, pas à pas, une communauté vivante autour de la passion pour les véhicules historiques.

Le dernier dimanche avant Noël, les représentants de young4vintage Ticino se sont réunis pour la première fois au sein de ce groupe pour une «Panettonata» pré-Noël. Le garage d’un collectionneur près de Lugano, avec son impressionnante sélection de voitures anciennes d’avant-guerre, a fourni un cadre approprié et inspirant pour l’événement. Autour d’un panettone, de chocolat, de café et de boissons gazeuses, la nouvelle initiative a fait l’objet de discussions animées. Parallèlement, les jeunes passionnés ont présenté deux idées de projets concrets en vue de l’année 2026.

La première initiative vise à transmettre la passion pour les véhicules historiques à d’autres jeunes. Des présentations sont prévues dans les écoles pour les élèves de la 5e à la 9e année afin de susciter leur enthousiasme et de leur montrer comment combiner intérêt, passion et perspectives privées et professionnelles.

La deuxième initiative se concentre sur le travail pratique sur l’objet. L’accent est mis sur l’apprentissage de la technologie, des matériaux et de l’esprit du temps des différentes époques de l’histoire automobile. L’objectif est délibérément moins d’offrir un cours strictement didactique que de fournir une expérience directe et l’occasion de vivre sa passion pour les véhicules.

Des mentors engagés ont déjà été trouvés pour les deux initiatives. Ils accompagneront et soutiendront les jeunes participants dans la mise en œuvre de leurs projets et leur fourniront conseils et assistance. Cela jette les bases pour que la mise en œuvre puisse commencer rapidement.

La participation d’Antonio Santarelli, lauréat du Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana, a été un honneur particulier pour ce petit événement pré-Noël. Le groupe young4vintage du Tessin, qui avait assisté à la soirée de gala à Lucerne, a profité de l’occasion pour remettre le prix à Antonio en personne, celui-ci n’ayant pas pu assister à l’événement officiel pour des raisons familiales.

Visiblement touché par cette reconnaissance, Antonio a livré aux personnes présentes des aperçus très personnels de sa vie, marquée par des revers amers mais aussi par de grands moments. À travers des anecdotes tirées de son expérience de sellier, il a établi un lien entre artisanat, passion et persévérance. Pour finir, il a invité le groupe Ticino young4vintage à participer à un atelier pratique dans son entreprise.

Un gruppo di circa venti partecipanti, provenienti dal Ticino e legati all’ambiente young4vintage, ha raggiunto la destinazione a bordo di un pullman, trasformando già il viaggio in un primo momento di convivialità. Per la prima volta, erano presenti anche giovani appassionati provenienti dall’Italia, a sottolineare concretamente una collaborazione «insubrica» che guarda oltre i confini e unisce territori e culture attraverso una passione comune.

Il programma della giornata è stato ricco e ben strutturato. La visita è iniziata presso il «Emil Frey Classic Museum», dove i partecipanti hanno potuto immergersi in una collezione di grande qualità, apprezzata unanimemente per il livello espositivo e la cura dei dettagli.

A seguire, il gruppo ha avuto accesso alla officina di Emil Frey Classic, vero cuore operativo dell’azienda. La visita, guidata in italiano dal responsabile officina Andrea Trigili, ha permesso di comprendere da vicino il lavoro di manutenzione e restauro, suscitando grande interesse e numerosi apprezzamenti tra i partecipanti.

Dopo il pranzo presso il ristorante del museo, la giornata è proseguita con una vera e propria sorpresa: la visita al Swiss Car Register. In presenza di Urs P. Ramseier, i partecipanti hanno scoperto una realtà straordinaria, caratterizzata da una preziosa e vastissima raccolta di documenti e oggetti legati alla storia dell’automobile in Svizzera. La visita è stata accompagnata dalla guida in italiano di Franz Engler, che ha saputo trasmettere con passione e competenza il valore di questo patrimonio unico.

Particolarmente apprezzato è stato anche lo spirito del gruppo. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Hermes, che con il suo sorriso e il suo savoir-faire ha creato un contatto immediato con i ragazzi provenienti da Milano, costruendo un primo ponte verso una collaborazione futura tra coetanei, motivati e desiderosi di condividere esperienze sia sul territorio ticinese sia su quello italiano.

I numerosi riscontri positivi ricevuti confermano la qualità dell’esperienza vissuta, sia dal punto di vista dei contenuti sia da quello umano. La giornata a Safenwil non è stata soltanto una visita, ma un vero momento di crescita, relazione e apertura.

young4vintage continua così il suo percorso, creando ponti tra generazioni e territori e dimostrando che la passione per l’automobile storica può diventare un linguaggio universale capace di unire persone, esperienze e visioni.

Due icone capaci di raccontare la storia dell’automobile in modo autentico.

Gli incontri sono stati accompagnati da momenti conviviali: una colazione a Sant’Antonino e un aperitivo con pranzo ad Agno, offerti da OBI, che ha sostenuto l’iniziativa. Ai partecipanti premiati è stato inoltre consegnato un buono del valore di cento franchi per prodotti legati al mondo dell’auto.

Dopo questi eventi, svolti con successo e in un clima di grande collaborazione, si guarda ora con interesse a un possibile sviluppo futuro insieme, segno che il lavoro fatto sta creando basi solide e nuove opportunità.

young4vintage Ticino continua così il suo percorso: con entusiasmo, nuove leve e la volontà di costruire, passo dopo passo, una comunità viva attorno alla passione per l’automobile storica.

L’ultima domenica prima di Natale, i rappresentanti di young4vintage Ticino si sono incontrati per la prima volta in questa squadra per una «panettonata» prenatalizia. Il garage di un collezionista vicino a Lugano, con una straordinaria selezione di auto d’epoca anteguerra, ha offerto uno scenario suggestivo e stimolante.

Tra panettone, cioccolata, caffè e bevande analcoliche, si è discusso animatamente della nuova iniziativa. Allo stesso tempo, i giovani appassionati hanno presentato due idee concrete di progetto in vista del 2026.

La prima iniziativa persegue l’obiettivo di trasmettere la passione per i veicoli storici ad altri giovani. Sono previste presentazioni nelle scuole dalla quinta alla nona classe per suscitare entusiasmo e allo stesso tempo mostrare come sia possibile coniugare interesse, passione e prospettive private e professionali.

La seconda iniziativa si concentra sul lavoro pratico sull’oggetto. L’attenzione è rivolta alla conoscenza della tecnologia, dei materiali e dello spirito del tempo delle diverse epoche storiche dell’automobile. Si tratta consapevolmente meno di un corso strettamente didattico, quanto piuttosto dell’esperienza diretta e della realizzazione della passione per i veicoli.

Per entrambe le iniziative sono già stati trovati dei padrini dedicati che accompagneranno i giovani partecipanti nella realizzazione dei loro progetti, fornendo loro sostegno e consigli. Sono state così gettate le basi per iniziare presto la realizzazione.

Un onore speciale per questo piccolo evento prenatalizio è stata la partecipazione di Antonio Santarelli, vincitore dello Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. Il gruppo ticinese young4vintage, che aveva partecipato alla serata di gala a Lucerna, ha colto l’occasione per consegnare personalmente il premio ad Antonio, che per motivi familiari non aveva potuto partecipare all’evento ufficiale.

Visibilmente commosso dal riconoscimento, Antonio ha concesso ai presenti uno sguardo molto personale sul suo percorso di vita, caratterizzato da prove molto impegnative ma anche di momenti grandiosi. Con aneddoti tratti dal suo bagaglio di esperienze di sellaio, ha gettato un ponte tra artigianato, passione e perseveranza. Al termine, ha invitato il gruppo ticinese young4vintage a un workshop pratico nella sua azienda.

Non vediamo l’ora che arrivi il 2026, un anno pieno di passione, nuove iniziative e persone entusiaste che lavorano attivamente al futuro del passato.
