Am 28. März 2026 erlebte young4vintage Ticino einen besonders bedeutenden Moment mit einem Ausflug nach Safenwil – ganz im Zeichen von Entdeckung, Austausch und gelebter Leidenschaft.

Eine Gruppe von rund zwanzig Teilnehmenden aus dem Tessin, verbunden durch das Umfeld von young4vintage, reiste gemeinsam mit einem Reisecar an. Bereits die Anreise wurde so zu einem ersten Moment des Austauschs und der Gemeinschaft. Erstmals waren auch junge Enthusiasten aus dem benachbarten Italien mit dabei, was die «insubrische» Zusammenarbeit unterstrich und zeigte, wie verbindend diese gemeinsame Leidenschaft über Grenzen hinweg wirken kann.
Das Tagesprogramm war abwechslungsreich und sorgfältig zusammengestellt. Den Auftakt bildete der Besuch im Emil Frey Classic Museum, wo die Teilnehmenden in eine qualitativ hochstehende Sammlung eintauchen konnten, die durch ihre Präsentation und Detailtiefe grossen Eindruck hinterliess.
Im Anschluss erhielt die Gruppe Einblick in die Werkstatt von Emil Frey Classic, das eigentliche Herzstück des Unternehmens. Die Führung wurde auf Italienisch vom Werkstattleiter Andrea Trigili geleitet und ermöglichte einen direkten Einblick in die Arbeiten rund um Wartung und Restauration. Die fachlichen Ausführungen stiessen auf grosses Interesse und wurden von den Teilnehmenden sehr geschätzt.
Nach dem gemeinsamen Mittagessen im Museumsrestaurant folgte ein weiterer Höhepunkt des Tages: der Besuch des Swiss Car Register. In Anwesenheit von Urs P. Ramseier erhielten die Teilnehmenden Zugang zu einer aussergewöhnlichen Sammlung von Dokumenten und Objekten, welche die Geschichte des Automobils in der Schweiz eindrücklich dokumentieren. Die Führung auf Italienisch durch Franz Engler vermittelte dieses einzigartige Kulturgut mit viel Fachwissen und spürbarer Leidenschaft.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Geist innerhalb der Gruppe. Ein spezieller Dank gilt Hermes, der mit seiner offenen Art und seinem Gespür für Menschen sofort einen Zugang zu den Teilnehmenden aus Mailand fand und damit einen ersten, wichtigen Brückenschlag zwischen Gleichgesinnten ermöglichte. Daraus ergibt sich eine vielversprechende Basis für zukünftige gemeinsame Aktivitäten in der Schweiz und in Italien.
Die zahlreichen positiven Rückmeldungen bestätigen die hohe Qualität dieses Ausflugs – sowohl inhaltlich als auch menschlich. Der Tag in Safenwil war weit mehr als ein klassischer Besuch: Er war ein Erlebnis, das Austausch, Lernen und neue Verbindungen ermöglichte.
young4vintage setzt damit seinen Weg konsequent fort – als Plattform, die Generationen und Regionen verbindet und zeigt, dass die Leidenschaft für historische Fahrzeuge eine universelle Sprache ist, die Menschen, Ideen und Perspektiven zusammenführt.
Begeisterung, neue Generationen und erste Erfahrungen
Anlässlich des «Vatertags» am 19. März 2026 bildete das Tessin die Kulisse für zwei Veranstaltungen, die Leidenschaft, Austausch und neue Impulse miteinander verbanden: Rund dreissig Fahrzeuge trafen sich in Sant’Antonino und ebenso viele in Agno und sorgten für zwei stimmungsvolle und inhaltlich spannende Anlässe.

Mit dabei war auch das Team young4yintage Ticino mit Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky und Vanni, die die Veranstaltungen mitorganisiert und aktiv mitgestaltet haben und dabei viel Engagement und Initiative eingebracht haben.
Einer der besonderen Momente war, ohne Zweifel, das Debüt von Liky, 19 Jahre alt, der erst kürzlich seinen Führerschein erhalten hat. Für seine «Oldtimer-Feuertaufe» durfte er eine Alfetta fahren und erlebte damit seine erste echte Fahrt am Steuer eines historischen Fahrzeugs. Ein symbolischer Moment, der den Geist der Initiative perfekt widerspiegelt: die Weitergabe von Leidenschaft von einer Generation zur nächsten – lebendig und greifbar.
Die Gruppe wurde zudem durch ein neues Mitglied bereichert: Dani, mit 14 Jahren der Jüngste im Team. Als grosser Youngtimer-Enthusiast bringt er viel Neugier und Energie mit und zeigt, dass die Bewegung auch bei den ganz Jungen auf ein wachsendes Interesse stösst.
Auch die prämierten Fahrzeuge setzten spannende Akzente. In Sant’Antonino wurde eine eindrückliche Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis ausgezeichnet, während in Agno eine Ford T von 1926 geehrt wurde. Zwei Ikonen, die auf ihre Weise die Geschichte des Automobils authentisch erzählen.
Begleitet wurden die Veranstaltungen von geselligen Momenten: ein Frühstück in Sant’Antonino sowie ein Apéro mit Mittagessen in Agno, offeriert von OBI, dass die Initiative unterstützt hat. Den prämierten Teilnehmern wurde zudem ein Gutschein im Wert von 100 Franken für Produkte rund um das Automobil überreicht.
Nach diesen erfolgreichen Veranstaltungen, die in einem sehr positiven und kooperativen Umfeld stattgefunden haben, blickt man nun mit Interesse auf eine mögliche Weiterentwicklung der Zusammenarbeit mit OBI. Die bisherigen Erfahrungen zeigen, dass hier eine solide Basis für zukünftige Projekte und neue Möglichkeiten entsteht.
young4vintage Ticino setzt seinen Weg damit konsequent fort: mit Begeisterung, neuen Generationen und dem klaren Ziel, Schritt für Schritt eine lebendige Gemeinschaft rund um die Leidenschaft für historische Fahrzeuge aufzubauen.
Vorweihnachtliche «Panettonata»
Am letzten Sonntag vor Weihnachten trafen sich die Vertreterinnen und Vertreter von young4vintage Ticino erstmals in diesem Kreis zu einer vorweihnachtlichen «Panettonata». Die Garage eines Sammlers bei Lugano mit einer beeindruckenden Auswahl an Vorkriegs-Veteranen bot dafür eine ebenso stimmige wie inspirierende Kulisse. Bei Panettone, Schokolade, Kaffee und Softdrinks wurde angeregt über die neue Initiative diskutiert. Gleichzeitig präsentierten die jungen Enthusiasten zwei konkrete Projektideen mit Blick auf das Jahr 2026.

Die erste Initiative verfolgt das Ziel, die Leidenschaft für historische Fahrzeuge an andere junge Menschen weiterzugeben. Geplant sind Präsentationen an Schulen der 5. bis 9. Klasse, um Begeisterung zu wecken und gleichzeitig aufzuzeigen, wie sich Interesse, Leidenschaft sowie private und berufliche Perspektiven miteinander verbinden lassen.
Die zweite Initiative setzt auf das praktische Arbeiten am Objekt. Im Vordergrund steht das Kennenlernen von Technologie, Materialien und Zeitgeist verschiedener automobilhistorischer Epochen. Dabei geht es bewusst weniger um einen streng didaktischen Kurs, sondern um das unmittelbare Erleben und Ausleben der Leidenschaft am Fahrzeug.
Für beide Initiativen konnten bereits engagierte Paten gewonnen werden, welche die jungen Teilnehmenden bei der Umsetzung ihrer Projekte begleiten, unterstützen und mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Damit sind die Grundlagen gelegt, um schon bald mit der Umsetzung zu beginnen.
Eine besondere Ehre für diesen kleinen vorweihnachtlichen Anlass war die Teilnahme von Antonio Santarelli, dem Gewinner des Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. Die Tessiner young4vintage-Gruppe, die am Galaabend in Luzern teilgenommen hatte, nutzte die Gelegenheit, Antonio den Preis persönlich zu überreichen, da er am offiziellen Anlass aus familiären Gründen verhindert gewesen war.
Sichtlich gerührt von der Anerkennung, gewährte Antonio den Anwesenden sehr persönliche Einblicke in seinen Lebensweg mit herben Rückschlägen ebenso wie mit grossartigen Momenten. Mit Geschichten aus dem «Nähkästchen» eines Sattlers schlug er eine Brücke zwischen Handwerk, Leidenschaft und Durchhaltevermögen. Zum Abschluss lud er die Tessiner young4vintage-Gruppe zu einem praxisnahen Workshop in seinem Betrieb ein.
Wir freuen uns auf ein Jahr 2026 voller Leidenschaft, neuer Initiativen und begeisterter Menschen, die aktiv an der Zukunft der Vergangenheit arbeiten.

Safenwil, Passion Without Limits
On 28 March 2026, young4vintage Ticino experienced a particularly significant moment with a trip to Safenwil – a day dedicated to discovery, sharing and a shared passion.

A group of around twenty participants from Ticino, brought together through the young4vintage community, arrived together by coach. The journey itself thus became an initial opportunity for interaction and camaraderie. For the first time, young enthusiasts from neighbouring Italy were also present, underscoring the ‘Insubric’ collaboration and demonstrating how this shared passion can bring people together across borders.
The day’s programme was varied and carefully put together. It began with a visit to the Emil Frey Classic Museum, where the participants were able to immerse themselves in a high-quality collection that made a great impression with its presentation and attention to detail.
The group then gained an insight into the Emil Frey Classic workshop, the very heart of the company. The tour was led in Italian by workshop manager Andrea Trigili and provided a direct insight into the work involved in maintenance and restoration. The technical explanations met with great interest and were highly appreciated by the participants.
After lunch together in the museum restaurant, another highlight of the day followed: a visit to the Swiss Car Register. In the presence of Urs P. Ramseier, the participants were given access to an extraordinary collection of documents and artefacts that provide a fascinating insight into the history of the automobile in Switzerland. The guided tour in Italian, led by Franz Engler, brought this unique cultural heritage to life with a wealth of expertise and palpable passion.
The spirit within the group is also particularly worth highlighting. Special thanks go to Hermes, who, with his open manner and his knack for connecting with people, immediately found a rapport with the participants from Milan, thereby facilitating an initial, important bridge between like-minded individuals. This provides a promising foundation for future joint activities in Switzerland and Italy.
The numerous positive responses confirm the high quality of this outing – both in terms of content and the people involved. The day in Safenwil was far more than a typical visit: it was an experience that fostered exchange, learning and new connections.
young4vintage is thus consistently continuing on its path – as a platform that connects generations and regions and demonstrates that a passion for historic vehicles is a universal language that brings people, ideas and perspectives together.
Enthusiasm, new generations and first experiences
To mark ‘Father’s Day’ on 19 March 2026, Ticino provided the backdrop for two events that combined passion, interaction and fresh inspiration: around thirty vehicles gathered in Sant’Antonino and just as many in Agno, creating two atmospheric and engaging occasions.

Also present was the young4vintage Ticino team, comprising Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky and Vanni, who helped organise and actively shape the events, demonstrating great dedication and initiative.
One of the highlights was, without a doubt, the debut of Liky, aged 19, who has only recently passed his driving test. For his ‘classic car baptism of fire’, he was allowed to drive an Alfetta, experiencing his first real drive at the wheel of a historic vehicle. A symbolic moment that perfectly reflects the spirit of the initiative: the passing on of passion from one generation to the next – alive and tangible.
The group was also enriched by a new member: Dani, at 14 the youngest in the team. As a keen youngtimer enthusiast, he brings plenty of curiosity and energy to the table and shows that the movement is also attracting growing interest among the very young.
The award-winning vehicles also provided some exciting highlights. In Sant’Antonino, an impressive Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis was honoured, whilst in Agno a 1926 Ford Model T was celebrated. Two icons that, in their own way, authentically tell the story of the automobile.
The events were accompanied by some social occasions: a breakfast in Sant’Antonino and a drinks reception followed by lunch in Agno, courtesy of OBI, which supported the initiative. The prize-winning participants were also presented with a voucher worth 100 Swiss francs for automotive products.
Following these successful events, which took place in a very positive and cooperative atmosphere, attention is now turning with interest to the potential for further developing the partnership with OBI. Experience to date shows that a solid foundation is being laid here for future projects and new opportunities.
young4vintage Ticino is thus continuing on its path with determination: with enthusiasm, new generations and the clear aim of gradually building a vibrant community centred on a passion for historic vehicles.
Pre-Christmas ‘Panettonata’
On the last Sunday before Christmas, representatives of young4vintage Ticino met for the first time in this group for a pre-Christmas ‘Panettonata’. The garage of a collector near Lugano, with its impressive selection of pre-war vintage cars, provided a fitting and inspiring backdrop for the event. Over panettone, chocolate, coffee and soft drinks, there was lively discussion about the new initiative. At the same time, the young enthusiasts presented two concrete project ideas with a view to the year 2026.

The first initiative aims to pass on the passion for historic vehicles to other young people. Presentations are planned at schools for grades 5 to 9 to spark enthusiasm and at the same time show how interest, passion and private and professional perspectives can be combined.
The second initiative focuses on practical work on the object. The emphasis is on learning about the technology, materials and zeitgeist of different eras in automotive history. The aim is deliberately less to offer a strictly didactic course and more to provide a direct experience and opportunity to live out a passion for vehicles.
Committed mentors have already been found for both initiatives, who will accompany and support the young participants in the implementation of their projects and provide them with advice and assistance. This lays the foundation for implementation to begin soon.
A special honour for this small pre-Christmas event was the participation of Antonio Santarelli, winner of the Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. The Ticino young4vintage group, which had attended the gala evening in Lucerne, took the opportunity to present Antonio with the award in person, as he had been unable to attend the official event for family reasons.
Visibly moved by the recognition, Antonio gave those present very personal insights into his life, which has been marked by bitter setbacks as well as great moments. With stories from the life of a saddler, he built a bridge between craftsmanship, passion and perseverance. Finally, he invited the Ticino young4vintage group to a practical workshop at his company.
We look forward to a year full of passion, new initiatives and enthusiastic people who are actively working on the future of the past.

Le 28 mars 2026, young4vintage Ticino a vécu un moment particulièrement marquant lors d'une sortie à Safenwil, placée sous le signe de la découverte, des échanges et d'une passion vivante.

Un groupe d’une vingtaine de participants du Tessin, réunis autour de l’initiative young4vintage, est arrivé en autocar. Le trajet a ainsi constitué un premier moment d’échange et de convivialité. Pour la première fois, de jeunes passionnés venus de l’Italie voisine étaient également présents, soulignant ainsi la collaboration «insubrienne» et montrant à quel point cette passion commune peut créer des liens par-delà les frontières.
Le programme de la journée était varié et soigneusement élaboré. Il a débuté par une visite du musée Emil Frey Classic, où les participants ont pu découvrir une collection de grande qualité qui a fait forte impression par sa présentation et la richesse de ses détails.
Le groupe a ensuite pu découvrir l’atelier d’Emil Frey Classic, véritable cœur de l’entreprise. La visite guidée, menée en italien par le responsable de l’atelier Andrea Trigili, a permis d’observer directement les travaux d’entretien et de restauration. Les explications techniques ont suscité un vif intérêt et ont été très appréciées par les participants.
Après le déjeuner pris en commun au restaurant du musée, un autre temps fort de la journée a suivi: la visite du Swiss Car Register. En présence d'Urs P. Ramseier, les participants ont pu découvrir une collection exceptionnelle de documents et d'objets qui retracent de manière impressionnante l'histoire de l'automobile en Suisse. La visite guidée en italien, animée par Franz Engler, a permis de découvrir ce patrimoine culturel unique avec beaucoup de savoir-faire et une passion palpable.
Il convient également de souligner l’esprit qui régnait au sein du groupe. Un merci tout particulier à Hermes qui, grâce à son attitude ouverte et à son sens du contact, a immédiatement su créer un lien avec les participants de Milan, jetant ainsi un premier pont important entre personnes partageant les mêmes idées. Il en résulte une base prometteuse pour de futures activités communes en Suisse et en Italie.
Les nombreux retours positifs confirment la grande qualité de cette excursion, tant sur le fond que sur le plan humain. La journée à Safenwil a été bien plus qu’une simple visite classique: ce fut une expérience qui a favorisé les échanges, l’apprentissage et la création de nouveaux liens.
young4vintage poursuit ainsi résolument sa mission : celle d’une plateforme qui relie les générations et les régions, et qui montre que la passion pour les véhicules historiques est un langage universel qui rassemble les personnes, les idées et les perspectives.
L'enthousiasme, les nouvelles générations et les premières expériences
À l’occasion de la «Fête des pères», le 19 mars 2026, le Tessin a servi de cadre à deux manifestations alliant passion, échanges et nouvelles idées : une trentaine de véhicules se sont retrouvés à Sant’Antonino et autant à Agno, donnant lieu à deux événements animés et riches en contenu.

L'équipe young4vintage Ticino était également présente, avec Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky et Vanni, qui ont coorganisé et activement contribué à la mise en place des événements, faisant preuve d'un grand engagement et d'un esprit d'initiative.
L'un des moments forts a sans aucun doute été les débuts de Liky, âgé de 19 ans, qui vient tout juste d'obtenir son permis de conduire. Pour son « baptême du feu » au volant d’une voiture de collection, il a eu le privilège de conduire une Alfetta et a ainsi vécu sa première véritable expérience au volant d’un véhicule historique. Un moment symbolique qui reflète parfaitement l’esprit de l’initiative : la transmission de la passion d’une génération à l’autre – vivante et tangible.
Le groupe s’est également enrichi d’un nouveau membre : Dani, âgé de 14 ans, le plus jeune de l’équipe. Grand passionné de voitures récentes, il apporte beaucoup de curiosité et d’énergie et montre que le mouvement suscite un intérêt croissant, même chez les plus jeunes.
Les véhicules primés ont également apporté une touche passionnante. À Sant’Antonino, une impressionnante Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis a été récompensée, tandis qu’à Agno, c’est une Ford T de 1926 qui a été mise à l’honneur. Deux icônes qui, à leur manière, racontent avec authenticité l’histoire de l’automobile.
Ces manifestations ont été ponctuées de moments conviviaux : un petit-déjeuner à Sant’Antonino ainsi qu’un apéritif suivi d’un déjeuner à Agno, offerts par OBI, qui a soutenu cette initiative. Les participants primés ont en outre reçu un bon d’achat d’une valeur de 100 francs à valoir sur des produits liés à l’automobile.
Après ces événements couronnés de succès, qui se sont déroulés dans une ambiance très positive et collaborative, on envisage désormais avec intérêt un éventuel renforcement de la collaboration avec OBI. Les expériences passées montrent qu’une base solide est en train de se constituer pour de futurs projets et de nouvelles opportunités.
young4vintage Ticino poursuit ainsi résolument son chemin : avec enthousiasme, en s'adressant aux nouvelles générations et avec l'objectif clair de construire, pas à pas, une communauté vivante autour de la passion pour les véhicules historiques.
«Panettonata» pré-Noël
Le dernier dimanche avant Noël, les représentants de young4vintage Ticino se sont réunis pour la première fois au sein de ce groupe pour une «Panettonata» pré-Noël. Le garage d’un collectionneur près de Lugano, avec son impressionnante sélection de voitures anciennes d’avant-guerre, a fourni un cadre approprié et inspirant pour l’événement. Autour d’un panettone, de chocolat, de café et de boissons gazeuses, la nouvelle initiative a fait l’objet de discussions animées. Parallèlement, les jeunes passionnés ont présenté deux idées de projets concrets en vue de l’année 2026.

La première initiative vise à transmettre la passion pour les véhicules historiques à d’autres jeunes. Des présentations sont prévues dans les écoles pour les élèves de la 5e à la 9e année afin de susciter leur enthousiasme et de leur montrer comment combiner intérêt, passion et perspectives privées et professionnelles.
La deuxième initiative se concentre sur le travail pratique sur l’objet. L’accent est mis sur l’apprentissage de la technologie, des matériaux et de l’esprit du temps des différentes époques de l’histoire automobile. L’objectif est délibérément moins d’offrir un cours strictement didactique que de fournir une expérience directe et l'occasion de vivre sa passion pour les véhicules.
Des mentors engagés ont déjà été trouvés pour les deux initiatives. Ils accompagneront et soutiendront les jeunes participants dans la mise en œuvre de leurs projets et leur fourniront conseils et assistance. Cela jette les bases pour que la mise en œuvre puisse commencer rapidement.
La participation d’Antonio Santarelli, lauréat du Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana, a été un honneur particulier pour ce petit événement pré-Noël. Le groupe young4vintage du Tessin, qui avait assisté à la soirée de gala à Lucerne, a profité de l’occasion pour remettre le prix à Antonio en personne, celui-ci n’ayant pas pu assister à l’événement officiel pour des raisons familiales.
Visiblement touché par cette reconnaissance, Antonio a livré aux personnes présentes des aperçus très personnels de sa vie, marquée par des revers amers mais aussi par de grands moments. À travers des anecdotes tirées de son expérience de sellier, il a établi un lien entre artisanat, passion et persévérance. Pour finir, il a invité le groupe Ticino young4vintage à participer à un atelier pratique dans son entreprise.

Il 28 marzo 2026, il percorso di young4vintage Ticino ha vissuto un momento particolarmente significativo con una trasferta a Safenwil, all’insegna della scoperta, dello scambio e della passione condivisa.

Un gruppo di circa venti partecipanti, provenienti dal Ticino e legati all’ambiente young4vintage, ha raggiunto la destinazione a bordo di un pullman, trasformando già il viaggio in un primo momento di convivialità. Per la prima volta, erano presenti anche giovani appassionati provenienti dall’Italia, a sottolineare concretamente una collaborazione «insubrica» che guarda oltre i confini e unisce territori e culture attraverso una passione comune.
Il programma della giornata è stato ricco e ben strutturato. La visita è iniziata presso il «Emil Frey Classic Museum», dove i partecipanti hanno potuto immergersi in una collezione di grande qualità, apprezzata unanimemente per il livello espositivo e la cura dei dettagli.
A seguire, il gruppo ha avuto accesso alla officina di Emil Frey Classic, vero cuore operativo dell’azienda. La visita, guidata in italiano dal responsabile officina Andrea Trigili, ha permesso di comprendere da vicino il lavoro di manutenzione e restauro, suscitando grande interesse e numerosi apprezzamenti tra i partecipanti.
Dopo il pranzo presso il ristorante del museo, la giornata è proseguita con una vera e propria sorpresa: la visita al Swiss Car Register. In presenza di Urs P. Ramseier, i partecipanti hanno scoperto una realtà straordinaria, caratterizzata da una preziosa e vastissima raccolta di documenti e oggetti legati alla storia dell’automobile in Svizzera. La visita è stata accompagnata dalla guida in italiano di Franz Engler, che ha saputo trasmettere con passione e competenza il valore di questo patrimonio unico.
Particolarmente apprezzato è stato anche lo spirito del gruppo. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Hermes, che con il suo sorriso e il suo savoir-faire ha creato un contatto immediato con i ragazzi provenienti da Milano, costruendo un primo ponte verso una collaborazione futura tra coetanei, motivati e desiderosi di condividere esperienze sia sul territorio ticinese sia su quello italiano.
I numerosi riscontri positivi ricevuti confermano la qualità dell’esperienza vissuta, sia dal punto di vista dei contenuti sia da quello umano. La giornata a Safenwil non è stata soltanto una visita, ma un vero momento di crescita, relazione e apertura.
young4vintage continua così il suo percorso, creando ponti tra generazioni e territori e dimostrando che la passione per l’automobile storica può diventare un linguaggio universale capace di unire persone, esperienze e visioni.
Entusiasmo, nuove leve e prime esperienze
In occasione della «Festa del Papà» del 19 marzo 2026, il Ticino ha fatto da cornice a due appuntamenti che hanno unito passione, condivisione e nuove energie: circa una trentina di vetture si sono ritrovate a Sant’Antonino e altrettante ad Agno, creando due momenti ricchi di atmosfera e contenuti.

Presente anche la squadra young4vintage Ticino con Irene, Hermes, Leo, Liky e Vanni, che hanno organizzato e partecipato attivamente agli eventi, portando entusiasmo e spirito di iniziativa.
Uno dei momenti più significativi è stato senza dubbio il debutto di Liky, 19 anni, che proprio di recente ha ottenuto la patente. Per il suo “battesimo oldtimer” ha guidato un’Alfetta, vivendo così la sua prima vera esperienza al volante di una vettura storica. Un passaggio simbolico che rappresenta perfettamente lo spirito dell’iniziativa: trasmettere la passione da una generazione all’altra, rendendola viva e concreta.
Il gruppo si è inoltre arricchito con un nuovo membro: Dani, il più giovane della squadra con i suoi 14 anni. Grande appassionato di youngtimer, porta con sé curiosità ed energia, confermando come il movimento stia crescendo anche tra i più giovani.
Anche sul piano delle vetture premiate, gli eventi hanno offerto spunti interessanti. A Sant’Antonino è stata premiata una splendida Bentley 3 Litre Jarvis, mentre ad Agno ha conquistato i riconoscimenti una Ford T del 1926. Due icone capaci di raccontare la storia dell’automobile in modo autentico.
Gli incontri sono stati accompagnati da momenti conviviali: una colazione a Sant’Antonino e un aperitivo con pranzo ad Agno, offerti da OBI, che ha sostenuto l’iniziativa. Ai partecipanti premiati è stato inoltre consegnato un buono del valore di cento franchi per prodotti legati al mondo dell’auto.
Dopo questi eventi, svolti con successo e in un clima di grande collaborazione, si guarda ora con interesse a un possibile sviluppo futuro insieme, segno che il lavoro fatto sta creando basi solide e nuove opportunità.
young4vintage Ticino continua così il suo percorso: con entusiasmo, nuove leve e la volontà di costruire, passo dopo passo, una comunità viva attorno alla passione per l’automobile storica.
«Panettonata» prenatalizia
L’ultima domenica prima di Natale, i rappresentanti di young4vintage Ticino si sono incontrati per la prima volta in questa squadra per una «panettonata» prenatalizia. Il garage di un collezionista vicino a Lugano, con una straordinaria selezione di auto d’epoca anteguerra, ha offerto uno scenario suggestivo e stimolante.

Tra panettone, cioccolata, caffè e bevande analcoliche, si è discusso animatamente della nuova iniziativa. Allo stesso tempo, i giovani appassionati hanno presentato due idee concrete di progetto in vista del 2026.
La prima iniziativa persegue l’obiettivo di trasmettere la passione per i veicoli storici ad altri giovani. Sono previste presentazioni nelle scuole dalla quinta alla nona classe per suscitare entusiasmo e allo stesso tempo mostrare come sia possibile coniugare interesse, passione e prospettive private e professionali.
La seconda iniziativa si concentra sul lavoro pratico sull’oggetto. L’attenzione è rivolta alla conoscenza della tecnologia, dei materiali e dello spirito del tempo delle diverse epoche storiche dell’automobile. Si tratta consapevolmente meno di un corso strettamente didattico, quanto piuttosto dell’esperienza diretta e della realizzazione della passione per i veicoli.
Per entrambe le iniziative sono già stati trovati dei padrini dedicati che accompagneranno i giovani partecipanti nella realizzazione dei loro progetti, fornendo loro sostegno e consigli. Sono state così gettate le basi per iniziare presto la realizzazione.
Un onore speciale per questo piccolo evento prenatalizio è stata la partecipazione di Antonio Santarelli, vincitore dello Swiss Classic Passion Award Svizzera Italiana. Il gruppo ticinese young4vintage, che aveva partecipato alla serata di gala a Lucerna, ha colto l’occasione per consegnare personalmente il premio ad Antonio, che per motivi familiari non aveva potuto partecipare all’evento ufficiale.
Visibilmente commosso dal riconoscimento, Antonio ha concesso ai presenti uno sguardo molto personale sul suo percorso di vita, caratterizzato da prove molto impegnative ma anche di momenti grandiosi. Con aneddoti tratti dal suo bagaglio di esperienze di sellaio, ha gettato un ponte tra artigianato, passione e perseveranza. Al termine, ha invitato il gruppo ticinese young4vintage a un workshop pratico nella sua azienda.
Non vediamo l’ora che arrivi il 2026, un anno pieno di passione, nuove iniziative e persone entusiaste che lavorano attivamente al futuro del passato.
